NOTE: Weekend rides and locations may change due to snow conditions, and Covid restrictions or openings.
All Club rides require each participant to carry transceiver, shovel, probe, and relevant trail pass for the area. Participants are also required to carry valid snowmobile license and insurance cards. We strongly recommend all riders have an AST 1 course at minimum.

The Club will provide experienced riders to guide a group of snowmobilers for the day on our scenic trail system out at Cataract Creek. Club Home Riding Area: Cataract Creek
The home riding area for the Calgary Snowmobile Club is Cataract Creek which is west and then south of Longview, AB.
Directions to Cataract Creek Staging Area: * (NOTE: GOOGLE MAPS DIRECTIONS ARE INCORRECT!! * Drive south from Calgary to the north end of Longview, Alberta. * At the north end of Longview on Hwy #22, go west on Highwood Trail (Hwy #541). * Continue on Hwy #541 for about 42km. Winter traffic ends at gravel Hwy #940 intersection. * Drive south on gravel Hwy #940 for about 13km to Cataract Creek Staging lot. The winter road ends there. |
